藤子．F．不二雄（Fujiko．F．Fujio)
Born as Hiroshi Fujimoto in 1933 in Takaoka, Toyama Prefecture, Japan, he made his debut as a manga artist in 1951, and is best known for his work on Doraemon, as well as Little Superman Palmon, Mami and many others. He passed away in 1996.

D. from the Institute of Astronomy, National Central University. He has worked at the Institute of Astronomy, Academia Sinica, and the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, USA. He is currently an adjunct assistant professor at CKSU, where he teaches two courses, “Exploring the Stars” and “101 Celestial Bodies in the Universe”. In his spare time, he writes about science, runs the “Astronomers on the Roof” Facebook and blog, and translates many books and special issues published by National Geographic.

渡部潤一
He was born in 1960 in Aizuwakamatsu, Fukushima Prefecture, Japan. Graduated from the University of Tokyo, Faculty of Science, Department of Astronomy. He is currently a professor at the National Astronomical Observatory of Japan and a professor of astronomy at the Graduate School of Mathematical Sciences of the Sogo Research University. He specialises in planetary science and solar system astronomy, observing and studying comets, asteroids, meteors and other small objects in the solar system, with a particular focus on comets and the evolution of the structure of the solar system. He has been involved in the promotion of astronomy since he became the Director of the Publication Office of the Astronomical Information Centre of the National Astronomical Observatory.
